ALLIANCES
Alliance level and rankings
What a level buys
Seats, and nothing else. An alliance starts at 25 seats and gains 1 per level up to 44. There is no combat bonus per alliance level.
The two feeds
One number levels an alliance, and it is made of two very different things.
Reputation is the live sum of the current members' faction reputation for the alliance's own faction. You earn faction reputation by banking haul from 3 different extraction sites in a UTC day, which is the daily task. Reputation belongs to the player: it arrives when they join and it leaves when they go, so an alliance that loses contributors loses levels.
Contribution is the alliance's own accumulator, minted from the contribution points members earn on objectives. It stays with the alliance whatever happens to the roster.
Prestige
Once the level has bought every seat up to 44, contribution stops adding alliance XP entirely and only reputation raises the level further, at a flat cost per level, up to level 40. Past the seat cap a level is a badge, not a bonus.
Rankings
9 weekly boards, reset every Monday. Each one can be read two ways: MEMBERS ranks the people inside your alliance, ALLIANCES ranks every alliance on the shard. Your own row is pinned so you can always find it, and the top three on each board wear a crest.
Board
---
CONTRIBUTION POINTS
SIEGE POWER DESTROYED
HAUL VALUE BANKED
HUNTERS KILLED
WORLD BOSS DAMAGE
GAUNTLET STAGES CLEARED
ARCOLOGY FLOORS CLEARED
HELPS GIVEN
GARRISON HOURS HELD
The boards and the objectives count different things on purpose. An objective counts what the alliance chose to chase this week; the boards count what people actually did, whether or not an objective for it was open.
