ALLIANCES
Alliances
An alliance is the unit of play at the Citadel. Most of what is valuable at the centre of the map is gated behind having one, and a squad that marches on the Citadel without an alliance is simply turned around and sent home.
What joining one changes
- Production. Membership raises every resource rate by 10%, on top of everything else.
- The map. You see where your allies are standing.
- Help. Members top each other up with resources and lend each other troops.
- Weekly work. Five shared objectives and a ladder of chests.
- A war chest. Faction tax and a share of marketplace fees, spent on the war.
- The Citadel. Sieges are fought by alliances. See Citadel siege.
- Prize money. The Alliance Cup pays alliances, and you cannot place in it alone.
Size
An alliance starts with 25 seats and gains 1 per alliance level, up to 44. See alliance level.
