Staked $THRONE earns Emission ASH, a daily allowance you spend in game.

Unbonding
Unstaking takes 7 days. The delay is deliberate: it filters people who would stake for a snapshot and leave, and it means the staked supply is a real commitment rather than a momentary balance.
What the allowance is
Emission ASH is spend-only. You can spend it on anything ASH buys: packs, beacon pulls, catalysts, cosmetics. You cannot swap it for $ato, you cannot export it, and you cannot trade it.
Unspent lots expire after 7 days. It is an allowance, not a balance, and it is meant to be used.
When you spend ASH the allowance goes first, oldest lot first, so you do not have to manage it.
